There were green granules last week in the litter box. I have several cats, so I had to find out which one it was. On Saturday, my beautiful Angie peed while I was in the room and there were green granules and blue ones. I immediately made an appointment with the vet. She has bladder stones and I didn’t suspect it at all! No signs, no discomfort demonstrated. I would never have known that if I hadn’t tested this litter. I think we’re really lucky to have caught it early!
Did you know that 2 out of 3 cats are at risk of developing urinary tract diseases and/or diabetes?
The main risk factors are:
M – Male
O – Obese
D – Diet (low-quality dry food)
I – Indoor (sedentary lifestyle)
S – Senior (over 6 years old)
